Lauren is a children’s book illustrator from the United States, currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago. Lauren has a bachelor’s degree in fine art focused in 2D illustration. She has over 5 years of experience in freelance illustration and has done children’s book illustrations for self-published authors. Her favorite scenes to illustrate are the small, wholesome moments of joy that are too often taken for granted by adults.

When she’s not drawing or writing, you can find Lauren at the library or at home with her life partner and black cat, who has a plethora of silly nicknames, but often goes by Bucky Balloon. They are all likely to be watching cartoons, playing video games, or exploring the outdoors together.

Lauren is currently seeking representation as a writer and illustrator of children's books.
